Salt Lake City, Utah March 4, 2016—Cytozyme hosted their 3rd Annual Marketing and Sales Conference at company headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah. The conference was a weeklong event for our in-country Business Managers to meet and discuss current and new business developments for the upcoming year.
The Business Management Team spent the week in meetings receiving technical training, including hands-on experience in the laboratories with the Research Team. The conference attendees also worked in production with the Operations Team and participated in additional team-building activities with the entire Cytozyme Company. The Business Managers and Executive Team spent a day mid-week at Victory Ranch, Kamas, Utah for a change of scenery to present their Business Plans and discuss market development opportunities with CEO Eric Baughman and the Research, Operations, Finance, and Marketing Departments.
“Cytozyme works hard every year to make our Marketing and Sales Conference a productive and fun experience for our in-country Business Managers,” said CEO Eric Baughman. “We have one week to coordinate expectations and business development goals for the upcoming year – it’s a lot of work. This year our Business Managers returned to their regions ready to grow their respective businesses and provide outstanding support to Cytozyme’s customers located around the globe.”
Cytozyme contracts six in-country Business Managers working in El Salvador, Brazil, Ecuador, China, India and Malaysia. Living and natively from these or nearby countries, the Business Managers are responsible for Cytozyme sales and market development there and in surrounding regions. The company also contracts Deputy Business Mangers in India and Brazil to further support the business growth in these regions.
Some of the highlights at this year’s conference were the team’s collaboration to create Cytozyme’s new tagline Technology Grower’s Trust. Led by Cytozyme’s expert marketing consultant, Alyssa Dver, the team also discussed potential marketing programs at both the corporate and local levels to help drive new business and support existing customers. Part of the team building fun included he team preparing, cooking and eating a meal together.
“This year’s conference was the most successful one we have hosted so far and we look forward to next year’s M&S Conference to continue supporting our global team, customers and to help grow Cytozyme’s overall market presence,” said CFO Dave Bitter.
