Salt Lake City, Utah August 4, 2016—Cytozyme Animal Nutrition, Inc., is excited to welcome Tan Shang as the Business Manager for the China Market. Shang will be responsible for opening the market for animal nutrition and aquaculture business in China by developing the business strategy and increasing revenue.

Shang brings deep business experience, as well as a sterling record of success, in the animal production industry. He was previously employed by Big Dutchman, the world’s leading equipment supplier for the poultry and pig industry, where he contributed to the company’s success and growth in China. Shang was the Area Sales Director in China for three years, and managed key customers in poultry, pig, and ruminant segments. Based in Beijing, China, Shang will report to John Stockham, General Manager for Animal Nutrition and Aquaculture.

“Tan is a key addition to the Cytozyme Animal Nutrition Team,” said Stockham. “He brings the right mix of business acumen and industry experience, both of these critical skills are needed to open the China market and introduce the company and products. He is an excellent communicator and is able to convey our company’s gut health solutions and concepts in understandable terms. I feel very lucky he has agreed to join our fast growing team.”

A native of Beijing, Shang graduated from Durham University in the United Kingdom with a master’s degree in Management. He also holds bachelor degrees in Financial Management and Business Analysis. Shang has over 10 years working experience in strategy, sales, marketing, business development, and distributor management. Previously, he has worked for Siemens, Goldwind, and Big Dutchman and is very familiar with government agencies, universities, and other important animal production industry players.
